We are pleased with the versatility of this unit, however the padding could be greatly improved. Also the way the pad/cover is made we don’t see how a tool holder can be utilized without cutting it. Overall we are pleased.
These casters are great, especially since they are the OE part for our creeper.
Works pretty good on trucks. I should have bought this years ago since I am a diesel technician at a dealership. Highly recommend this topside creeper if you want to work on trucks more comfortably.
I've been in vehicle maintenance for most of my life. I stopped turning wrenches for a living 20 years ago but still maintain my own vehicles. Recently, I had to do a job that was going to require leaning over the hood for the better part of 2 days, so I started researching topside creepers and I found this Traxion 3-100, so I ordered and I'm glad I did! What a game changer, no more sore back from leaning over the hood all day, I was able to easily access the back of the engine and had a clear topside view of everything. I weigh 235lbs and it supported my weight easily, I really liked being able to move the creeper around while laying on it. It never once felt unstable. I also opted to purchase the tray which worked out great! it never got in the way, and it held a good amount of tools, I also put a small magnetic tray inside to hold bolts as I was removing or installing them. I highly recommend both!
total lifesaver when working in the engine bays. spent 13 hours on it first day and it saved by back and legs. good adjustability too. took about 30 min to get together and the instructions were a 8/10 so thats another plus. overall 5 star product. wish i got one years ago.
when i work on my excursion, i used to have to lay across the engine to get to the back or work on the turbo. so i would get bruises from stuff all the time. my brother in law has one of these and is a tall stocky guy. this holds him just fine. i used it and realized i need one too. its a game changer. there are a few sharp edges from manufacturing that you might want to just file down a bit, but otherwise, its fantastic. worth the purchase. and it has a bag on the front to hold tools that you put in there while working and still cant find them because you forgot where you put them LOL. the struggle is real!
I purchased this for my husband and I when we are working on our vehicles. It took a minute to assemble. The instructions are HORRIBLE! Lol the sizes and tools they tell you to use are all wrong smh. So just a heads up! I've assembled its very sturdy/solid. Don't have any worry about it crashing down or bending anywhere. The casters are of nice quality, and it adjusts easily. I did cut up a pool noodle and zip tied it parts that would possibly bump against the vehicles. The pads it came with I just doubled up and zipped tied them as well. So get yourself a pool noodle with this to save you some hassle. Would purchase again and highly recommend! BACK SAVER for any mechanic!
